Welcome to a new edition of North Pres News -17 March 2016. We have just come back from a Health & Safety Workshop held through the Interchurch Bureau this morning. These are being held nationwide and we have let you know about them over the past few weeks in North Pres News. Good to see some Presbytery faces at the workshop among others from other denominations. These workshops will help churches as they begin the process of coming in line with the new requirements of the Health & Safety Act which comes into force in April. There are still two sessions available in Auckland, one tonight at Somervell Presbyterian and another next week in Glendene. You receive a very informative workbook and the sessions are not too heavy going with plenty of time for questions.
A couple of last chances for registrations: THIS Saturday is the Successful Church Local Mission Conference held in the beautiful Clevedon. It’s not too late to give them a quick email and be blessed with a wonderful day of hospitality, fellowship, conversations and learning. This event is for all those in ministry and leadership, so please forward this to anyone in your networks who you think could benefit . As always, Clevedon hospitality will be a feature of the day culminating with a celebratory dinner. More details in the newsletter. The other is Hunua Easter Camp: check that your campers are all registered and ready to go! Again, details inside.
Don’t forget Neighbours Day this weekend. We share one idea to connect with your neighbourhood… a fresh batch of hot cross buns and the Easter story shared over coffee and conversation sounds like a wonderful idea don’t you think?
