South Auckland Presbyterian Campsite

Want to get away from it all, but still within 1.5 hours from Auckland? The Awhitu Presbyterian Campsite is a rustic camp situated in the rolling hills on the edge of the beautiful Manukau Harbour. Enjoy walks to the beach, and the ARC Awhitu Regional Park (where there is a safe, golden sand beach, Brook Homestead and bush reserves). Golf course, boating launching ramp and good fishing available nearby, and a local shop and service station at Matakawau. This camp is used by many different groups -church, youth and family. It is one of the few camps around Auckland catering for smaller groups -up to 40 people.

  • Accommodation: 40 beds in six rooms
  • Kitchen: 3 stoves, microwave, fridges, freezer, storage space, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, BBQ area.
  • Shower and toilet block
  • Dining room
  • Hall

 

The cost:

  • $12.50 per adult per night (2 night min)
  • $7.50 per child per night (2 -17 years)
  • $60 min per night
  • plus non-refundable deposit of $20
  • $60 day only charge
