South Auckland Presbyterian Campsite
336 Hatton Rd, Awhitu:
Want to get away from it all, but still within 1.5 hours from Auckland? The Awhitu Presbyterian Campsite is a rustic camp situated in the rolling hills on the edge of the beautiful Manukau Harbour. Enjoy walks to the beach, and the ARC Awhitu Regional Park (where there is a safe, golden sand beach, Brook Homestead and bush reserves). Golf course, boating launching ramp and good fishing available nearby, and a local shop and service station at Matakawau. This camp is used by many different groups -church, youth and family. It is one of the few camps around Auckland catering for smaller groups -up to 40 people.

Houghton’s Bush Camp, is conveniently located just 40 minutes from downtown Auckland; and yet it’s a world away. The camp offers affordable accommodation and outdoor activities for groups in a private native forest setting.
