National Assessment Workgroup Administrator (Part time over the Year)
This is the key administration role in the selection process for candidates who feel called to train as Nationally Ordained Ministers in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. Our longstanding Administrator is no longer able to continue, and we now seek a replacement. The Administrator assists the two Co-Convenors of the Workgroup to run the annual process each year, which culminates in the National Assessment Workshop each May. The commitment is for about 130 hours per year, with busy times October/November and February to May. The role is remunerated.
Duties include:
Coordinating candidate applications
Booking venues; scheduling activities; liaising with all involved
Pre-planning, organizing and participating in the annual planning day (last Saturday in February) and the four-day annual Assessment Workshop (this commitment is four days over a weekend in May)
Being the ‘go to’ person and communicator
The Administrator should preferably be Auckland based, with good computer and communication skills.

South Kaipara Presbyterian Parish is looking for a minister (lay or ordained). The main congregation is Helensville Community Church, a small but committed group of varying ages. It meets in excellent new facilities and has a more charismatic worship style. There is also a more traditional congregation at St. Cuthbert’s Kaukapakapa, meeting every second Sunday afternoon.
