Increasing social inequality is one of the major issues facing our country today and is a core focus of the 2014 election. This public event includes a panel discussion that targets critical social issues for thoughtful voters.
There will be short presentations by four leading figures:
- Max Rushbrooke -Political & Social Journalist and Author of ‘Inequality a NZ Crisis’
- Major Campbell Roberts -Director Salvation Army Social Policy Unit & Parliamentary Unit
- Professor Susan St John -Co-director Retirement Policy & Research Centre, Auckland University
- Rod Oram -Business Journalist, Member of St Andrew’s Church, Epsom
These will be followed by discussion convened by Rev Glynn Cardy, Minister at St Luke’s.
