NAU MAI HAERE MAI

In 2023, Northern Presbytery began its journey toward understanding what it truly means to be an intercultural church for Christ within our region. This included introducing the role of Intercultural Facilitator and establishing a three-year advisory group to guide and support this vision. Together, we look forward to embracing and celebrating intercultural life across our presbytery, how we gather, serve, lead, and walk with one another for the sake of Christ and His mission.

Te Aka Puahou

Te Aka Puahou – Māori Synod of PCANZ

Our Māori Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. It upholds Te Reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the Treaty of Waitangi as central to its identity, offering spiritual leadership and pastoral care within Māori communities and our wider church. Northern Presbytery values our partnership with Te Aka Puahou and is committed to walking together in aroha, manaakitanga, and unity.
